Introducing 14: Alabama Shakes

Here at Ibiza Rocks we love finding the best new sounds around and at the moment we can't get enough of American 4-piece Alabama Shakes.
The authentic Alabama based band have taken the blues rock sound of their roots and added an injection of pure southern soul (mainly thanks to front woman Brittany Howard). Think Janis Joplin meets Nina Simone rocking out with The Black Keys.
On the radar of the NME and Guardian Music their debut self produced album entitled Boys & Girls gets its official release on April 10th.
In addition to the album, they have teamed with the awesome Jack White for a two-song 7″ single, due out in the coming months.
Both releases will be supported by tour dates in both the U.S. and UK so check them out if you can but in the mean time enjoy their latest single 'Hold on'
