Suited and booted Londoners Spector are the ultimate new band if you like a dash of music from every genre. Nominated for the BBC Sound of 2012 prize and included in NME's countdown of bands to hear this year Spector have got big ideas, big songs with some of the catchiest hooks around at the moment.
Described as "a new kind of peculiarly English power pop" you could pitch their sound anywhere between Roxy Music, The Strokes, The Killers, Pulp, Frank Sinatra and The Vaccines but with every song bringing something new its uniquely hard to place exactly.
Going out on the road with the Florence & the Machine, Kaiser Chiefs and lined up to play some of the planets biggest festivals already 2012 looks like their year.
