About Us

What are we all about?

Ibiza Rocks has powered through seven years of existence to now boast multiple live music events, a travel company, 3 hotels, 2 hostals, 2 bars and a fashion label as part of the brand. Even better? It shows no sign of stopping…

Ibiza Rocks was born in 2005 out of the backroom of Ibiza’s most legendary club night, Manumission before moving across the island to Bar M to host live music events from the likes of Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and Mark Ronson and in doing so, announce a rock revolution to an island heavily dominated by dance culture.

In 2008 the Ibiza Rocks Hotel opened its doors for the first time, combining hot weather with cool accommodation and hosting live gigs from the likes of The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal, The Streets, Calvin Harris, LCD Soundsystem, Biffy Clyro, Florence & the Machine, Madness and The Specials on the infamous poolside main stage. With the birth of the Mallorca Rocks hotel landing in Magalluf in 2010, the Rocks brand has gone from strength to strength offering an unrivalled experience that you’ll struggle to find anywhere else in the world; watching your favourite band play live under the Balearic stars, either in amongst the crowd or from the comfort of your own balcony!

Last summer the brand surpassed another milestone as the legendary Pikes Hotel joined the Ibiza Rocks group and became the Ibiza Rocks House. Featuring a unique blend of the Hotel’s original heritage with our Rock ’n’ Roll influence, The Ibiza Rocks House continues to be one of Ibiza’s longest standing institution.

Fast forward to 2013 and this year looks set to be our biggest ever. An amazing 17 weeks of Rocks gigs in each hotel, every Tuesday in Mallorca and Wednesday in Ibiza. Added to by We Are Rockstars (W.A.R!) a new to 2012 dance fuelled, DJ led night that will see an incredible mix of the most influential and exciting names in electronic music take over the famous outdoor ‘Rocks’ stage every Thursday in Mallorca and Friday in Ibiza for the 2nd year running.
